I moved to NYC in 2007 to pursue a career in Photography and did all I could to make that happen. While working as a Studio Manager of a fully-furnished rental studio in Chelsea, Suite 201, I attended the International Center of Photography (ICP) and began discovering my own voice as a photographer. After completing internships and assisting several well-known fashion, commercial & wedding photographers over the years, it hit me that I was meant to be shooting on a more intimate level.
I’ve taken my love for babies and the bellies they grow in and turned it into what inspires me the most. Still getting used to being a new mom myself (my son Elliott was born Dec/2010), second-guessing everything and being amazed at how quickly babies outgrow their clothes(!), I love documenting all the little milestones. As everyone tells me “they grow so fast…”.
My family of 3 recently moved to the Manayunk/Roxborough area in Philadelphia.
